Warren joined the financial services industry in 1995. He is an AFA (Authorised Financial Adviser) and a Foundation member of Financial Advice New Zealand. Warren has also achieved life membership of the MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table).
Warren set up Centastone Ltd after leaving his role in the Argent/Lifetime Group in March 2016 where he was the CEO. During his tenure the group grew from $1.5m income in 1999 to $18m in revenue by the end of 2015.
Centastone specialises in Insurance and Risk, along with providing access to a full range of financial services. Centastone is continually striving towards excellence as a leading edge financial services business that provides sound, well researched solutions.
We are a high-performance business that is attracting a range of advisers from the market to connect to us via our unique terms and mandate which enable them to still work independently but also receive agreed levels of support and lead generation via the large pool of Centastone clients already managed.
Advisers can trade as they wish under their own brand or by contracting into Centastone’s brand, and can elect the level of engagement they wish to utilise from full back office services through to just qualified client inquiry and everything in between.”
Centastone is currently operating in the three main cities - Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch however has arrangements to service clients throughout New Zealand. Centastone’s technology allows it to run a full customer care strategy on a contract basis, which satisfies regulatory requirements and simplifies the adviser’s involvement, “without losing control but enabling them to focus on areas that are far more profitable for them and they wish to specialise in”.
‘Regulation’ is also under review and will yet again reshape our industry, and while some of our colleagues will be wondering how to cope with the imminent changes and requirements, I believe we have prepared Centastone extremely well. “We have the structure in place that will ensure a smooth transition into the new environment and maximise our leadership position.”
Warren is supported by his loving and understanding family, including wife Jo, and daughters Haley and Emma. Outside of work Warren enjoys spending time with Jo and his girls, plus playing squash, golf, tennis, swimming, skiing both snow and water, boating, diving, fishing and is occasionally spotted at the odd game of Poker.
